free Community Christmas Carol Sing-along
will begin at
6:30 p.m. this Saturday,
Dec. 12, at
Georgetown Lutheran Church. The program,
which will last about 45 minutes, will feature
histories of
favorite Christmas carols and singing of
carols accompanied by organ.This is not a
worship service, but simply a fun event for
people of all ages. Children are especially
welcome. Refreshments will follow.

p.m. for a Fall-Planting
Extravaganza.
The store has teamed up
with local
garden-and-landscape
experts from
Wisteria Landscapers,
Petals for the People
and
Homestead Gardens,
who will conduct free
workshops and
demonstrations. In
addition to planting
advice and
flower-arranging demos,
Bill Smith of DRO
Enterprises will be on
hand to provide valuable
home-weatherization tips
for the cold season.
