The residential real estate of Glover Park is comprised of about 1000 townhouses (we call them “row houses” in DC for non-HOA communities), a dozen or so medium- to large-sized condominiums and cooperatives, a handful of an eclectic mix of detached houses, about a couple dozen medium- to large-sized apartment buildings, and a smattering of smaller 4-6 unit apartment and condominium residences. Houses typically date from the 1920’s-30’s, while numerous apartment buildings were constructed in the 1940’s-50’s with many condo conversions occurring in the early 1980’s with some additional (especially smaller apartments) during the real estate boom of the early 2000’s.
Chris Jones is a top Realtor with Long & Foster/Christie’s International Real Estate in Georgetown and has been representing buyers and sellers in Glover Park for over a decade. Contact him at chris.jones@longandfoster.com or cell: 202-441-7008.
THINKING ABOUT SELLING?
It is important to hire someone experienced and knowledgeable
to sell what is very likely your largest asset. Important questions to ask when interviewing
a Realtor to sell your Glover Park property:
• Do you live in Glover Park?
• Is your
real estate office close by?
• Do you have at 10+ years experience selling real estate?
•
Do you regularly sell properties in the neighborhood?
• Do you use professional photography
and print material?
• What is your print and online marketing plan?
• Do you have a
list of neighborhood contacts?
• Will people find my listing when they search for
"Glover Park" online?
• What do you know about the neighborhood history, architecture,
schools, buildings and commercial areas?
• What features sell best in the neighborhood?
•
How can you be an advocate for the neighborhood?
• Do you do the open houses or delegate
that to an inexperienced agent with no stake in selling the home?
• Can you give me
a list of satisfied clients in the neighborhood?
Don't take any chances hiring someone
simply because they are "a friend of a friend". I will present a no-obligation complete
marketing plan on how I will sell your Glover Park property for the best price and
terms possible.
