PaveDC is Paving Glover Park

Mayor Bowser and the District Department of Transportation began the PaveDC initiative to "eliminate all poor quality roads in DC by 2024." That's quite a promise. The heavy equipment has arrived in Glover Park and many streets are bare and blocked. Not to worry, you won't need to snake through alleys to get home for much longer, as the effort in the neighborhood nearly is complete.

Here is an interactive map of which roads are stripped, complete or planned. Read a little about the Mayor's initiative here. Looks like it should be complete by the end of the week if the weather holds.
