Penelope hasn't come home since monday evening, when she went out to play after the rain stopped. She's indoor/outdoor and often stays out for a few nights, but I'm worried anyways. We are looking for two housemates to move into our beautiful house June 1: the small room shares a bathroom with just me and is ($815/mo) and the large room has its own bathroom and is $1100/mo. Both have hardwood floors and lots of light. The house is lovely, with a big yard, all amenities like a washer/dryer, dishwasher, etc. The neighborhood is great: quiet, tree-lined, but with everything you need a 5 min walk away (a great dumpling place, a 24 hour CVS, a few bars), and Georgetown is a ten min bus ride down the hill. I take the bus up to Tenleytown for work and it takes under 20 min. There's also a bus that goes directly to Dupont and is maybe 15 min. You would be living with me and my wonderful housemate, Harry, and my two sweet kitties. We are working professionals, it's been two guys in their early twenties and me, and that's been working great. We've had a very harmonious home, I think because the guys are super easy going and let me decorate as I please; we magically all have about the same tolerance for messiness (a few dirty dishes in the sink for a couple of days doesn't bother us); and we all refrain from complaining, instead just doing what needs to be done. We're open to anyone who loves cats, isn't going to stress about the dishes, and gets along easily with their fellows. We are friendly and quiet (mostly going to bed around 11). We don't have room for more furniture in the common areas, except maybe a bookcase or some other small items.
