Hi neighbors, I’m Ellida–a DC native (Deal + Wilson grad) heading into my junior year at Columbia University. I’m looking for a part or full time baby-sitting job for the month of June, when I will be home in DC. I’m able to drive, and could pick kids up from camp or take them on out on adventures. I also love coming up with fun activities/arts and crafts. I have experience with kids of all ages from babysitting through out high school, and from volunteering with an extracurricular childcare program in Honduras on my gap year. Hi! I'm Ellida Parker, I live in the neighborhood on T St. I graduated from Wilson last spring. Since then, I've been taking a gap year–before countries began putting lockdown measures in place, I was volunteering in a childcare program in a small town in Honduras. I'll be heading to Columbia University in August. I live on T St and love the neighborhood. I babysat quite a bit in high school and really enjoy spending time with kids. I've been taking social distancing seriously. My usual rate is about $15-20 an hour. I'm very flexible when it comes to hours. These are hard times to navigate for everyone, and I imagine this is especially true for families with young kids. I would look forward to making this summer as fun and engaging as possible for any kids I'm spending time with.
