Crime reports for 2025 in Glover Park dropped 32% compared to 2024, following a 15% drop from 2023 to 2024. Reports to the DC Metropolitan Police Department totaled 106, less than 9 per month. Most notably, car break-ins dropped 64% to only 17 incidents. Smash and grabs have plagued the neighborhood in recent years, rising to a high of 66 thefts in 2022 and have been a thorn in the side of the police attempting to stem the tide. The Glover Park Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC3B) voted in November to extend the liquor license moratorium which has been in place in the neighborhood in one form or another since 1996.
