Sweet, happy, energetic, experienced and hardworking nanny available

We are sadly relocating, and won’t be able to bring our nanny.

Susana, our nanny, has been with us for over two years, caring for our first child from the time they were only a few months old, through the birth of our second child.

We were incredibly lucky to find her - she is extremely experienced, very energetic, absolutely loves children, always happy and positive, and a joy to have in our home. She is able to hit the ground running (which was great for us as new parents) - she figured out eating and sleeping routines, where good walking routes and playgrounds were, immediately made other nanny contacts with nannies watching similar age children. She doesn’t sit looking at her phone or on the sidelines - she’s always right there on the floor playing with the toys helping to build, color, drive toy cars and pretend with dolls. She’s always following closely on the playground as well. Our house was always tidy - in her spare time she would empty the sink and dishwasher, tidy whatever was around. She read books, sang songs, played horsey!, built forts - our children laughed all day with her. She helped  serve purées (as first foods) and later healthy snacks and lunch and always shared her own lunch (our older child would always want to eat whatever she had - she started to bring double lunch to share with him!)

She researched fun activities around the city at museums and the library to bring him to, just them or on playdates with our child’s friends.

She was very active - able to keep up with our first as a wild and fast running toddler, but also taking him to swim, splash parks, museums, music/art/soccer classes and actively participating with him.

We always felt our child was greatly loved and cared for, kept safe - we trust her entirely.

She was very reliable - never late (always early!) or sick, and coordinating on vacation and doctor appointments. Once our entire family got really sick when we were supposed to leave for vacation - she came in right away and stepped in to help - we were incredibly grateful.

She would often bring treats - crackers and fruit our children love, buying them small gifts at the zoo or museum gift shops, buying them snacks while out. She is a generous and sweet person.

When we went to the hospital to have our youngest child, she worked all weekend to watch our older child.

She is just as good with infants as she is with toddlers

We are absolutely heartbroken and would like to help her find a nice family.

Hello! We are looking for a dependable and high energy nanny to take care of our two kids (7 and 11) just near Guy Mason's recreation center on weekdays starting any time soon and through the school year (3 h per day /5 days a week). Responsibilities, once kids go back to school, would include: pick up kids from their local school at 3:30 pm, drive them home and/or to activities (with his/her own car), lightly oversee homework is completed and/or entertain them until 6:30 PM.
