The former apartment building at 3918 W Street that is being converted to condos allegedly was the location of an obscure cult in the 1980's. Really? I'm reporting from these blog/news sources below. One identifies the cult as "The Finders". Various sources claim they were devil worshipers, men in suits or feminists who participated in brainwashing. Maybe all of the above? I wonder if that can be considered a non-profit for property tax saving purposes....
