The Mason Inn, which opened in 2011 at 2408 Wisconsin Ave NW in Glover Park, has been a popular place for 20-somethings to catch a game on one of it's numerous giant-screen TVs, watch a band or meet up with their power-drinking crowd.
It seems that the owners of Mason Inn have anonymously put the liquor license up for auction. The license is the only class CT (with entertainment) liquor license in Glover Park. I have not heard any rumors about Mason Inn closing, so further investigation is needed to get to the bottom of it.
Mason Inn is located in the space of the famed Grog and Tankard, a mainstay in Glover Park back in the old days, as well as the short-lived Gin-n-Tonic.
