2408 Wisconsin Ave which houses the Mason Inn, a popular bar in Glover Park, is up for sale. The owners Hamed and Abdul Hossainkhail purchased the building in 2005 for $1,275,000. The owner of the Mason Inn, Fritz Brogan, put the Class CT liquor license up for auction last month. It is the only tavern with entertainment license in Glover park. While this suggests Brogan seeks to exit the location and not relocate the business elsewhere in the neighborhood as previously rumored, the outcome of the license auction is unknown at this time. Brogan also co-owns Mission in Dupont Circle and Hawthorne on U Street.
The building is advertised as a 2300 square foot "possible redevelopment opportunity" 2-story retail building with an "undisclosed" price.
