On Saturday, 5/16 at around 7:45am I was walking my little dog - on the lead - in Dumbarton Park. I was on Lover's Lane - the hill down into the park off of R street. A woman was coming up the hill - running - with her German Short Haired Pointer off lead. I pulled my dog to a short, controlled lead. As they approached, her dog attacked mine - biting him on the neck. She called her dog off, but didn't stop or apologize. My little guy wasn't badly hurt, but he's sensitive to begin with and now traumatized.

I saw her again the next morning - she was across one of the meadows so not near us - but she had two dogs off lead.

Park rules clearly state LEASH YOUR DOGS! Someone or some pet will end up hurt.
