Have lived on 39th Street, NW for 31 years. Always parked on the street. Never, ever any issues whatsoever. I left my car doors unlocked the Saturday eve - with items exposed in my back seat BUT - the thieves took cds only out of the glove compartment. So, as invincible as I feel in our neighborhood, you never know.
