Hi there. We live in Burleith and my twins are juniors at Georgetown Day High School. Please feel free to respond to me and I will connect everyone. Message from them: We know that schooling is an issue right now, and since we have some extra time, we're willing to tutor anyone's kids in the Burlieth/Glover Park area who need assistance with their subjects (for no charge). We are aware that many have their spring breaks sometime next week, but we are free up until at least April 13th, and our school will probably be cancelled for the rest of the semester. For younger kids, we can help with basic reading, math, etc. For older kids (middle school), we can help with basic to intermediate Chemistry and Math (pre-Algebra, Algebra2, and pre-Calculus). We're currently taking AP Chemistry and Calculus but we haven't finished the curriculum yet. We can try our best to tutor that level of math/chemistry but we have a stronger grip on the earlier courses. Of course, tutoring in person is not a viable option given social distancing. But we are willing to work with local students in whichever way they prefer, whether it's FaceTime, Zoom, a phone call, or just pictures of homework sent over text.  Hope everyone stays safe!
