Responsible and dedicated nanny will be available for a new lucky family in May.  Joan has over 27 years of childcare experience.  She has worked with babies through school age children.  As a mom who works from home, I've been able to witness how great Joan is at her job.  Joan is organized, punctual, creative and always comes up with activities to keep our baby engaged and developing.  She is incredibly responsible, never on her phone and always focused on the baby and her safety.  She does a great job tidying up after the baby and keeping our space clean.  She even helps with the baby's laundry during nap time.   Joan is a U.S. citizen, CPR certified, and has certifications in London Montessori and also Early Childhood Education from Prince George's Community College.  She passes a background check and has a clean driving record and her own car. Joan is looking to share her enthusiasm and creativity as a full-time nanny for a new family.  She is particularly excited about the possibility of finding a family with a baby or babies.   If you have questions or would like more information, please do not hesitate to contact me (maddiehazelgrove@gmail.com) or reach out to Joan directly. Our wonderful nanny, Kenou, will be available to start with a new family or nanny share on September 3rd.   Kenou has cared for our son and our neighbor’s daughter for over a year, and the only reason we are parting ways is that one of the children is starting school this fall. Kenou is reliable, punctual, loving and patient.  She has cared for our children as if they were her own.  Our children are always excited to see her and even ask for her on the weekends when not with her.   She’s great about teaching the children new things and is usually on the floor playing and singing songs with them.  She loves to teach them about colors, numbers, and patience in playing with each other.  She has handled different nap schedules with ease and has been very flexible about starting early or staying late when needed.  She is very familiar with the neighborhood and takes the children to the part and art class at Guy Mason, as well as music class and story time at the Georgetown library.   She is fluent in French and English and speaks both languages to the children per our encouragement.  Kenou has years of experience as a caregiver and views her work as far more than a job.  She often spends her spare time cooking for the children and knitting them presents.  Whenever the children are away from her, whether on vacation or at an appointment, she will send a text checking up on them.  She often texts us, “I miss my baby.”  Her love for our children has been very apparent since day 1.  We are all sad to see her go, but we know she will be an asset to her next family. Kenou is legal to work in the US, CPR certified, and has a driver’s license and a car, but is also familiar with bus routes.    If interested please contact one of the following and we can pass Kenou’s contact information along: Maddie: Maddiehazelgrove@gmail.com Rori: Rorikramer@yahoo.com
