Hi Glover Park,  For those parents with young children who are struggling with online learning or pods, I wanted to share that my 5 year old daughter goes to Crossway Montessori Forest school in Kensington, just outside of Washington D.C. and absolutely loves it. She can’t wait to go to school in the morning. The school offers an in-person, outdoor, nature-based learning experience for children, infancy to age six, guided by the Montessori philosophy. My daughter learns in nature, and about nature, in garden, farm, woodland and forest environments. She explores wildlife and plants, learns math and how to write and read phonetically. Plus lots of nature-based play, physical activity, art, science, music and more. The school follows strict health and safety standards and educates parents on clothes and gear to bring so that she’s warm and comfortable learning and playing outside.   Their hours are from 7:30am to 3:00pm.
