After eight long months, the Glover Park Ace Hardware plans to re-open in mid-September. The store closed at the end of 2014 after they could not renegotiate their lease with the landlord. They soon found a new location just a block south near Breadsoda, though preparations were delayed, largely do the necessity to build a freight elevator to the lower level of the building and dealing with the various permitting issues that go along with such a project. Rite Aid leased the old space and is renovation the space currently, while CVS shakes in their boots across the street.....
