Pearson's Liquor at 2436 Wisconsin Avenue in Glover Park - d.b.a. "Wisconsin Avenue Imports LLC" - has dropped it's lawsuit against the purchasers of the former Pearson's parking lot at 2430 Wisconsin Avenue. The complaint was dismissed with prejudice (meaning it will not resurface). It is not clear if the plaintiff's dismissal was due to an out-of-court settlement or if they were convinced the case had no merit.

Petra Development, owner of the lot, plans to have "shovels in the ground" according to principal Rashid Salem in the next few weeks to start their ambitious construction of luxury condominiums and ground level retail. Neighbors can be relieved that this lot will not remain another blighted vacant property long term like the Whole Foods across the street (ugh).
